Day 19 - Frozen Food

Today marks my 750th Daily photo which is quite a cool milestone to reach :thumbs: and I've marked it with I think one of my best bird photos to date, this little feller was on the hunt for some seed to each in the snow of my garden, I had put some out and as you can see he found some of it :thumbs:

Todays is really nice Matt, well caught in the snow and you have got down to the same level as him too, great job.

Thanks Phil, this is really what I had envisioned for today :thumbs: though he actually came up to my level ;) I've hidden a small feed bowl on the table under the line of the snow :thumbs:
 
Love that! The angle of the shot, the snow, the food in his mouth - fab!

I love that shot, just gorgeous!

I really wish it snowed here sometimes... We just get golfball sized hail and it turns out that hurts if you stand out in it!

Thanks Steph, glad you like it :) I'm sure it would hurt to stand out in that :eek: I understand it's very hot in parts of Australia ATM :eek: I think I'd rather have the snow too that 46 degree heat that Sydney had
 
We have 90% humidity and up to 40 degrees here in Brisbane. Sydney copped a lot of heat from the bushfires that are happening down south at the moment. Mind you this is it starting to cool off again heading into autumn....

:shake: nope I'm really not build for temps like that :lol: :lol: :lol: I'd be melting I'm not sure that some friends that I'm sure have moved to brisbane will be coping that well either :lol:

Day 20 - Patience is not my Virtue

Actually that's not true otherwise I wouldn't be a long exposure nut case, but having taken delivery of my new toy a couple of day's ago now I really wanted to get out and have a play with it, alas the weather really isn't in the mood to play ball, so I've played with it at about 2am this morning in my lounge..it's also I think the first time that I've published a photo making use of the cameras exposure stacking software stacking in this case 7 exposures in camera :thumbs:

Well it had to happen really :D glad you like it Phil and I too cannot wait to take it out into the wild :D
 
Hi Matt, playing catch up.

Hope you feeling better after you're recent slip, despite the damage a good shot of the damaged lens. Love the windmill shot, lovely wintry & misty feel to it, very nice. The shot of the bird in the snow is a little cracker, love that one, and just love the colours in your stacked shot, you definitely have patience fella :thumbs:
