Day 346 - Light of my Life :D

A simple tribute to my 430EX2 this has been used on so many of my night shoots, it's been knocked, scratched, dropped, it even tried to get it's own back on me and smacked me plum on the nose this weekend as I put my camera round my neck but still over 3 years since I got it it's still running strong :D

 Nice idea for a pic Matt. Well taken. Just as an aside Matt, what batteries do you use with your flash, I should be picking up a nissin gun tomorrow.

Thanks since getting it I've only every used decent rechargeables by Ansmann, but that said Eneloops have a excellent reputation

Thanks Matt, going to have a search around to see if I can find any chargers on offer.

Just don't go for the dirt cheap ones, and if your not going to be using the flashgun for a while then make sure you take the batteries out  a leaking battery will ruin your day :bang:

Nice matt how many actuations do you think youve had from it oh and I thought the light of your life was Daisy LOL

Only when she's in the room mate, otherwise she just milks it too much, and actuations it's gotta be in the ten's of thousands

Day 347 - Ice Gems

Well we have had a little bit of a hoar frost today, and have I been able to get out and capture some of it, that's a negative, as been stuck in waiting for deliveries :( so this is my only offering a icy diamond encrusted group of leaves...

The worrying thing is though Carol that there is also the first thread for this year that amassed 65 pages before this one was started as the original was getting too long, but thank's for taking a look though I'm pleased that your enjoying it :D

This is the first thread of 2012 :D http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=375557

I don't blame you, what it shows however is how much support the forum can give to our challenges

Oh definitely - I have to admit I was dreading it at first and wondered what I had let myself in for but I am thoroughly enjoying it. The Forum is brilliant and very helpful - have got a lot of tips just from other members photos as well as advice from threads. The Crazy Gang aren't so bad either ;)
