Day 338 - Celebration Drink

I thought that I'd have a beer just to congratulate Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the announcement today that they're expecting there first child, that or I just fancied a beer :suspect:

So here you see a beer surrounded by cubes of ice :D

Yeah I wish...I've never been perfect though once a long time ago I was a Prefect...what a blast from the past, it's been a long time since I wore this badge, maybe we could get some green ones made up for the mod team :naughty:

I won't ask about the pink.... Nor taste of the mods....hence why I stay down here....in the dark recesses..

Yeah we're safe down here, I've not seen one of them there mod's venture into the mad house in about 18 months :thumbs:

Day 340 - Orbtastic

I was out this evening with Darrell to do a little prep work for this Sundays meet so we thought that we would spin up an orb :thumbs:

Beer! That's the stuff I drink! But being a Yorkshireman I still can't call it beer!
I like the badge, also takes me back but I never had a prefect badge .... mine says 'HEAD BOY' :lol: Really! Photo proof if required!!! :lol:

Day 341 - Staying Connected

I'm sad to say but I should have moved with the time and got a decent smart phone years ago as I'm loving being able to stay connected properly :thumbs:

I've not done a selective colour photo in months but had this idea a few days ago and finally got around to doing it using my new phone and my new kitchen worktop for the reflection, now I'm in this century when it comes to communication and always connected :D

I have the full reflection but it would leave too much dead space or a long thin photo neither of which I wanted :( hence this crop to just past the reflected TP App. Logo :)

I must say I am enjoying it :thumbs: sat in a car park responding to you now :thumbs:
 
When you said smart phone and I spotted it on flickr .... I didn't realise you'd gone to muted dark side.. Of apple ... Nice reflection ..

Don't worry I'm not going to go all fruity on you even if others might be saying something different the computers in my life will stay just that PC/Windows :D glad you like the photo :thumbs:
 
Day 342 - Highway Bound

I can never resist a little bit of light trail action and this evening the light, the wind and to some extent the clouds were just about right :D only just though they could have been a little better

Just catching up with the thread - i havent shown my face down here since i put my project on hold (I'm starting again in the new year) - a lot of nice shots as always, i especially like the iphone

Right! I'll be posting a shot of my new phone when it comes! Over here the big company (Movistar) is offering a deal they call Fusion which is Internet, Landline and Mobile all in one pack. Anyway, I went for it and so needed to update my 23 euro Nokia! Soon ... oh so soon I'll be in another Galaxy!!!

Day 343 - Liberty

A photo of old lady liberty, I wish I could say that I'd jetted off to NYC to shoot this however northing could be further from the truth...Instead I had the pleasure of a visit to Bolton where I was shooting a corporate christmas party that was based on a NYC/Broadway Theme, it was actually a fantastic evening :D

Day 344 - Firing up the Kiln

It's been years since this Kiln was fired up for a working reason, but last night after months of planning the night finally came for the Talk Photography Night Time Extravaganza in North Yorkshire, the weather gods were very kind to us, and the meet was really well received and everyone had a lot of fun...
