Daily MWHCVT(Matt's) Challenge 366 - 2012 - Part Deux

That's really nice Matt, I like the divide between the 2 halves. Lovely and colourful.

Cheers Michael, that's what I was going for so glad that you like it :D

I detect a lot of variation in your recent posts Matt. Great for nicking ideas!
As the end draws near I feel I'm searching for new things all the time not wanting to repeat ideas and the like. Love the star trail shot! Should be thinking about trying out this technique I suppose.

By the way, I was looking at some of those stacked image shots on TP (insects etc). This is a technique for doing macros but having everything in focus, isn't it?

Cheers

Thanks Bob, the stacked star trails and the focus stacking are very different techniques the later being one that I know very little about having only attempted it a couple of times but you should give them both a go

Day 327 - Storm Force

Storm force, as this photo shows the weather really is turning, the wind is blowing and the rain has been falling with lot's more forecast, sometimes you can be very glad that you live at the top of the hill ;) but the blowing trees I think make quite a nice back garden special

Processing I decided to go for a little bit of a monotone with just the slightest hint of red in there for the red warning that should come with this weather :D

Windy Rugby indeed Matt , I too like the hint of Blush !!

Thanks Vince, glad you like the colour hint :D

Nice Matt, the hint of red really works well. A pretty rough bag of weather we are getting!

Cheers Michael, the weather has been useless this last few day's was really dreaming of a second chance at the leonid's but that never happened :bang: glad you like it :D

Day 328 - Ark Plan's

I think that the congregation of this church may want to start dusting off the blue prints for an Ark if the forecast of more rain is to be believed

Clears sky's show it's going to be a cold one tonight, maybe not a good thing with all this water about, as you see that the Avon just south of Warwick is well over it's banks, and there is more rain forecast

Day 329 - Price of life

Okay so I may have got distracted and forgot that I hadn't got round to taking my photo :bang: though I thought a quick macro from the order of the hour, what can you get with a pound these days  answer is not a lot, but still reassuring to have a couple in your pocket ;)

Very nice Macro Matt , Look after the pennies and the pounds take care of themselves as they say !!

That would explain my bank balance, it's fully of pennies, not many pounds in there though :(

Yep, it certainly will, not long now, only around 3 weeks to go! I'm trying to think of ideas in advance for the 365 and can't really think of any. Perhaps I should wait and see what happens each day.

I think that will be best for you :D you never know what each day will bring ;)

Day 330 - Flight Level

The water on the Hatton Flight in Warwickshire looking smooth and level here in a 51 second exposure shot this afternoon with the help of a B&W ND110 filter

Can't beat a B/w IN MY Opinion!!

I did once of the Lock Cogs yesterday which I quite liked !!! Have a look in the General Section Matt and see what you think Bud

I'll check it out later mate just going out the door in a few minutes and prefer to look at photos on a proper screen ;)

Day 331 - Golden Arrows

Golden Arrows, no really, you've heard of the World Famous RAF Red Arrows, rendered in solid gold flying over Buckingham Palace accompanied by a Spitfire

Nice long exposure Matt.
The coin, not seen anything that one myself either, I like it. Is there a little bit too much light on the coin, I can't make much detail out on the centre of the coin, unless it's my screen of course.

It's not your screen or the photo it's the coin mate it's tiny and in the palace there isn't a massive amount of detail :( glad you like it. :D
