Daily MWHCVT(Matt's) Challenge 366 - 2012 - Part Deux

Yum Yum on 319 Matt, eat them up bud and then search out the Real Mojo !! Now there is a challenge !!

I know what my POTD is going to be for today I just need to shoot it :D it's going to be a self portrait of some kind but that's all I'm saying :D

You have one too... I bet that's why picture frames are never straight ... Well executed.. I can see right through your technique though!! :D

320 - The Ghost of Christmas Matt.....................Very effective yet again Matt, like the Mononchrome and the Concept is quality and the concentration on your face is great. Well done Matt, the Mojo is on the way back pal.

Day 321 - Time Warp

Stuck in a time warp....as I was sat there thinking of my challenge I got to thinking of all the different times I've wondered about what my daily photo would be...

Day 322 - Man of Fire

Man of Fire...Shot in a hidden little corner of Warwick, you see this wire wool spin that enveloped the entire frame with sparks flying past the camera on all sides :D

I love getting out and doing this type of photography, it's the kind of thing that I live for

Day 323 - Leo where are you

I when out into the cold of the early hours of this morning to one of my favourite local locations, Burton Dassett Country Park in the very heart of Warwickshire...Here you see the historic Beacon on the summit of the hills some 666ft above sea level, and smashing into the Beacon is the only Leonid that I captured. That said I think this makes a rather nice improvement on my previous star trail from this position that I shot all the way back in January this year, there are so many star visible it's almost unreal, I may if it's clear and another attempt at catching the Leonid's early in the week

I did suffer some misting issues so this is not as longer exposure as I was out in the cold for, but this is a 90 minute exposure made up of 30 second exposures @ f/4.5 and ISO2500 these were processed then loaded into StarStaX to create this image of startrails

323 is some very nice work Matt , fairplay for putting the time in to get the shot. I take my hat off to you.

Thanks Vince, it has to be done :D and it's already getting a bit of love on flickr too which is nice, it sounds a little self involved but when you do something like this, and put so much into getting a photo you really want it to be appreciated :D so really pleased that you like it :D

Thats stunning Matt!!! How does the Milky Way look up there I take it there is not too much light pollution depending which direction your looking in. And do you get many people up there at night how safe is it?

Thanks Ben, you can make the milkyway out quite clearly :D there are a few people and they do act a little oddly though I guess maybe they're more interested as I would say from the outside what I'm doing looks a little odd too :suspect: I didn't feel unsafe, but then I'm a big scary looking guy so most don't really threaten or come near me ;)

Seconds Out Round One as they say , quality Matt

Thanks Vince I was just an idea that came to me when looking at the clock the other night :)

I must admit I do a lot of clock watching, doing it at the minute sitting at work waiting and waiting

 I used to do that when I was stuck in an office :D guarantee I would get a call about 10 seconds before the end of shift :bang:

Day 325 - Light of my Life

Well maybe not but this a bit of an abstract of part of the light's in my living room, and I hope better than the last version that I shot like this last year I think...

Different Matt , like tear drops !!or the pear drop sweets !

Tear drops really does describe them well  I should have cleaned them then they really sparkle

Day 326 - Over the Hedge

They say the grass is green on the other side well in this case the sky was better on the other side, it's been grey and rainy all day so I never expected to actually have some sunset colour and then well working round the house and saw that the sky looked quite good :D

So I present a abstract take on a landscape
