Daily MWHCVT(Matt's) Challenge 366 - 2012 - Part Deux

Nice shot Matt , very crisp, love the monochrome and also the speed on the blades !

Thanks Vince, it's not bad for ISO4000 I think it was :D I think these guy's and girl's do an amazing job so alway's donate to them

Now that is a great way to photograph the air ambulance. Love the b+w.

Thanks Michael, it just seems to suit a conversion to B&W

Great Air Ambulance shot Matt, well caught motion in the rotors, and I'm a sucker for a starburst, and that's a cracker

Thanks mate, I'm glad you like it I wanted to go for something a little different to a whole aircraft shot for once :D

Day 305 - Scary Find

I don't do selfies very often but I though that I'd knock up a scary SP for Halloween it's terrifying what you find in the kitchen cupboards, I've been emptying them today as I'm having a new kitchen fitted starting on Monday, and came across a jar of dried herbs, that we best before in a quite shocking July 1991  I was 7 then

Hitchcock would love that shot Matt , very suitable for the date.

Thanks Vince  I hope it doesn't put you of coming out for some light trails

Matt I look in the Mirror every morning and cringe :lol: and I have been out with a lot worse believe me :lol:

 you should see some of the sights I see when I'm working at clubs and bars

I like the PP Matt !!!! When I first see it I was thinking that you had maybe just seen the price of your next lens upgrade ;)

Cheers :D I have nightmares about that all the time  but I think the next one will be in the 1k range and that's not too scary, but will involve a lot of saving

Great start to the season Matt.

Thanks Michael, I though it was quite nice

Boy you didn't hang about getting one

A great one that, the road flows through the pic very nicely

:D I was going to clone in a little more light trail to complete the curve but that's not how topography is so I though I would leave it natural  glad you like it :D

Good idea for a challenge, Matt. Might post some contenders myself!

Scary Find - neat idea. I have seen a few of this type of shot - opening cupboards, fridges etc Much better than a straightforward sp in my opinion.

Thanks Bob, by all means sign up for the challenge, the links in my signature it should be fun  if I'm honest the SP was a little bit of an excuse to play with my wireless flash triggers that I got weeks back :D

Day 307 - Many Many Stars :D

Ever since doing my first photo of the milky way from this angle I've been waiting for another clear night so I could get back there to spend a little bit of time doing a star trail from the same angle and wow it was worth the wait

Matt, did you notice they have rotated the sails again....? Nice shot also :)

Yeah, I though that they had, I've no idea why they keep moving it, but that said I'd love to see them doing it :D, glad you like it :D

Day 308 - Boom Time :woot:

2012 Firework Display at Kenilworth Castle, the wonderful range of colours and effect's was simply stunning to watch this year and the wind direction carried the smoke over the castle to make some really atmospheric looking effects
