Just saw it on Flickr and really like the image.
Fantastic star trails![]()
Hi Matt, good to meet you last night. Shame we had to go early, but will look forward to visiting again. That is a super pic![]()

Day 85 - Windmill Wonder
Tonight with a number of other TPer's I attended Chesterton Windmill to have a bit of star trail funthis was shot with my fish eye lens and as such shows of a little bit of the distortion that you get with this lens
I'm very pleased with this as I've just managed to get polaris into frameand to top it off I've managed to capture an iridium flare
This is made up of around 220 x 30 seconds exposures @ f/4 ISO800
Nice!
Do you guess where the polaris is situated? Or do you know where abouts it is?

I like that, Nice detail in the coin, like the lighting,
That coin is fab, good to see my tubes coming to good use![]()
What a good idea for a timelapse Matt, I might give that a try when I get a new mower and do mine!
fair enough, it's came out well
Really like the timelapse. Something I really want to try sometime. Did you have a particular guide you used?
PS: Your lawn is massive! Rather you than me cutting it![]()
and what you see here is about half the grass
Did you have to press the shutter/remote every 5 seconds then?
I really fancy trying it from my roof or something like that before I leave Korea.
Interesting stuff.
I have a basic wireless remote and have been playing with that for people shots and some night work too.
Either way, great idea with the timelapse and great to see you're keeping up the variety of shots/techniques in this 366!

Now, thats nice, lovely shot![]()
At this size it looks pretty sharp -I know what you mean though, theres always something more isn't there, such as it could have been pointing toward the camera, face in focus and so on - but these things aren't meant to be somethings!
On thing I have learnt through my last few days in macro is that bugs like nothing more than to have their bottom's photo'd! I'm thinking of getting my status changed to "Bug proctologist"!!
Indeed, I think as photographers we are always in search of the perfect photo, I know that I've become a little obsessed with it on occasion
Thats great mate, i do believe my tubes came into play on this one then:shrug:
I have never seen one of those before![]()
That happens if i use the 18-55 with them. i can actually touch the subject and have it in focus, they work better with my other lenses
lol, doing the rounds i see![]()

Like it Matt, sun flare looks good peeping over the headstone,
Absolutely gorgeous butterfly shot and the composition of the churchyard shot is a cracker.
