MWHCVT(Matt's) Challenge 365 - Completed

Day 332 - A Moody Abstract

Finally I show my face without a mask but not really it's now turned into a cartoon :D to give it the stylised look of an Andy Warhol :thumbs: sorry I cannot pull of a Marilyn Monroe look :lol: and I only put my little white dress on at weekends :lol:

Thanks Joe, it was a really brilliant evening :D I was over the moon with the trails and sky it was all perfect :D

Matt...i'm not a fan of the andy W way... my daughter came home from school and her photography teacher had just shown them how to do this style in PS ... they haven't even learnt the basics of photography... guess that may have set me up to the old :thumbsdown: on this occassion... silly teacher! bet he's on strike tomorrow... may i be struck down with foot in mouth disease :shrug:

No worries Kev, I wouldn't expect everyone to like all my images every time, I'm not that naive :p I wish I could have taken photography when I was a school :( I do hope your making sure she is going plenty of photography homework :thumbs:

Day 333 - Well half of 666 :suspect:

So I could only go for a slightly spooky look rather than a full demonic look :cool:

Trying for a spooky look with this one :D I deliberately shot this one a high ISO to get some noise in there, then I've done some tone mapping in there to lift some detail, followed by a B&W conversion, contrast boost and finally as velvia effect layer on the image

I was out this evening and I've never actually been to this church in daylight hours so since I was passing I thought that I would pay it a visit :thumbs:

Day 335 - Winter Comforts

As someone that hardly ever drinks hot drinks I can think of few better things to start of the countdown to Christmas that a nice big glass of milk and come cookies :D

I couldn't resist a little bit of light painting so this was done with a little bit of light painting and then the levels were adjusted in RAW :D

Thanks Kev, If I'm honest these were to fancy for me :gag: I like my cookies as simple as me, these were the expensive ones my village shop stocks :shake: the milk was great through :thumbs:

Day 336 - Christmas Coming up Fast

I was out this evening with Darrell (thedodo) so we decided to have a little play with flash and long exposures in the car, to make the most of Royal Leamington Spa's Christmas Lights

We couldn't not get any other positions with the tripod because we were fully loaded with equipments :D

There was a small amount of flash in with this fitted with a lime green gel to match in with the lights on the dash :D

Day 337 - What a Cracker

Inspired by the stupendous works of Andrew (AndWhyNot) in his automotive light painting I thought it time that I gave it a :thumbs: though I was not that prepared :eek:

I have to say getting to take a photo of this proved to be a nice little bonus in the run in to Christmas :D

That's Michael the RRE was such a sunning find and the location has really helped :thumbs: I was rather pleased with the milk and cookies :thumbs: and they tasted great :clap:

Thanks Kev, the stars are what made it for me too :thumbs: though being a true LR fanatic I also love the car, I'm trying to get one for a weekend to have a proper photographic play :naughty: I'm working all my JLR contacts :D

Day 338 - Colours Galore :D

The phrase tired would fit well today, I sat up for quite late on Friday night, then out till about 4am this morning I spent a sizable proportion of today catching up on a little bit of sleep :D

So with this photo, it was a case of let's get as many colours in as possible, with a nice shallow DoF, I almost considered a little faux tilt shift but resisted the urge :D

S is not for Skittles it's for sleep, more of which is needed today :D

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM I could just eat all those now,

like the idea, but for me only personal mind you, I would try fill the frame, all those black spaces are distracting if you know what I mean

I'm debating eating them as we speak, I guess I should have got a bigger packet, that or nicked Darrell's tubes :lol: I didn't want to crop it anymore as it's already a heavy crop :eek: but I have to agree with you on that front Dave :thumbs:

Thanks Ben, I did have another idea but couldn't quite get it work properly :bang: I was going to try the opening the orange up after this shot and doing the iconic splayed out image with a real orange surround but I couldn't get it stay in position correctly :bang:

Day 341 - Sun Beaming through the clouds

Not quite a sunset but it's on it's way down to set behind the Draycote Bank and Valve tower at Draycote Water, I was rather surprised at the water level, it must be at least 15 years since I've seen the water this low at Draycote
