I see MW Classic have finally upgraded their website. You can now buy online, its not exactly slick, lots of blank spaces under each item, but its much better. I've never used them even though they are often very competitively priced, I may now though.

New website looks great. I almost never bother with actually doing anything online, and never email - I always call them, it's much more direct and it's much easier to get an answer quickly from them.

I don't think it's been tested with tablets, looks a proper mess on mine in chrome (Lenovo Yoga 2). Still, good that they're finally updating it.

ETA: It's also caused the browser to crash twice. Might wait until I'm on the PC again to check it out properly.

Hmmm, there seems to be some formatting issues there.
Hope they get it sorted as they always have good stuff for sale. I've bought a few odds and ends in the past and was happy with them.

Awful update to their website. Rubbish formatting/navigation on Firefox & Safari on Mac, and Dolphin & Firefox on Android (phone and tablet).

Hopefully, they will have decent look at browser compatibility etc. :)

If you've ever been to their premises you'll realise that the website flatters to deceive, it's positively 21st century and all singing and dancing, swish and downright groovy in comparison. At least they have more than one photo now, so they're getting there, albeit a little slower than the rest of the world but a little faster than some unnamed retailers of secondhand photographic goods.

Only one item showing for me still. Browsing the supposedly 15 Olympus products, they only have details of one. What browser do you need to view the site? I've tried Firefox and Opera.

I have just looked at the Olympus section and can see all 15 items. I'm using Google Chrome.

It wasn't working for me yesterday but did when I clicked the grid selection and the page updated (the 9-box square above the product listing). Listings appear to be coming up ok today, using Chrome on Windows 7.

Still no joy using the drop down menu from "Brands". It briefly shows two items (I tried Canon this time) but then drops them to show just one. Selecting "All" gives me a very long, white page, so my best guess is that everything is there just not being shown in my browser. Possibly it's falling foul of AdBlocker, but beyond that I have no ideas. Still, not my problem, because even if they have something I'd like to buy I won't know about it, so won't miss it.

In Chrome, for me, it's trying to load resources via HTTPS (ie, secure HTTP) but their server is refusing the secure connections. I'm wondering if their server is misconfigured to tell the browser to prefer HTTPS but they haven't set up a certificate.

It works in Firefox, although the layout is pretty broken.

I've just checked again, and now it looks as if it might be working.
