Yes
A decade or two ago there was a whole load of greetings cards that had a little chip thingie in them so that when you opened the card it played a tune.
I want to get a few made, but have no idea what they might be called or who might be able to make some.
Any ideas...?

I'd be so grateful for any help !

Yes I recall them and frankly I hope they have had their day.

With all electronics needing to go through specialist recycling IMO it makes no sense to sell such combined materials that are potentially difficult to dispose of properly.

PS I also wish they would cease to use glitter on cards.......talk about microplastics :banghead:

I hear what you are saying and agree but for what it's worth mine would not be disposed of at all - we have made our own Christmas cards for 20 years this year for a small-ish number of friends and family and almost everyone has kept them all - the only person who doesn't have the entire collection lost some in a move. This year will be the last, so it will be slightly different and none will be thrown out..

I take your point about your requirements being quite minor and will been seen as keepsakes by the recipients....................but possibly as an analogy. Not everyone buying cheap clothing will treat it as disposable but the vast majority seem to do so!

Having said that I am deflecting your request and intent so I will get my :coat:
