Competition and free market is a great thing, in he music industry it is getting hot.
Spotify - I already got it free through my mobile phone contract, but never really liked it. Difficult to merge with own music and integration in car systems with full remote control is patchy. Also when wanting to provide access to the whole family it gets very expensive. Although that is relative as compared to what I used to spend on CDs it's a lot less.
Apple Music - Newly launched, fantastic selection of music, super easy to integrate with your own music, playlists both off and online and sharing with others as well. I also like he whole independent label on it with some great new music. And Zane Lowe's show is brilliant. Sharing this service for unlimited access across my family is £15.99 which about two CDs per month. A very fair price.
However, Amazon Prime has just launch Prime Music. And it is "free" meaning no additional charge to Prime. I haven't tried it yet but it is awesome value for money. Amazon prime was good value for the delivery alone, but then they launched instant video and now music.
It is a very good time to be a consumer with great choice.
