Hi... Planning a trip in November which will give me 2 days in Mumbai. I like to take people/urban/candid stuff and would welcome any suggestions as to places to visit. I have been told of an area where a lot of laundry goes on which might have some potential but can't find out anything definite about it. Grateful for any pointers.

The area in downtown Mumbai adjacent to the Arabian Sea has loads of art-deco buildings crumbling away. The Victorian Gothic train station is quite a sight and the steam of humanity getting off the trains is astonishing during the morning rush. The area around the Gate of India is usually mobbed by locals and visitors from other parts of India but is worth a visit if only for people watching.
