Probably an 'RTFM' situation but here goes anyway
I was snapping away with my macro kit the other day - camera on full manual, flash on ETTL mode. Was out in a field, relatively bright conditions - something like f14, 1/250, ISO 100. I wandered into some woods and took a few shots (no change to settings) and suddenly everything was massively overexposed despite it being much duller! Ended up having to stick the flash down to -2.
Seems odd on the face of it - any suggestions ?
TIA
