As per the title folks, how is it done?

I have already saved all the mailbox content (inbox, sent items, etc) to a .PST file but can't fathom out how to save my email account settings to a file so they can be imported to another PC with MS Office pro on it.

Anyone got the know how???

TIA :)

Do you mean the account settings to pull in your emails from pop accounts? If so I don't think you can - you just have to re-enter them

Yep, that's what I hoped to achieve Keith. Dang, you'd think MS would have a simple batch way of doing this, I've 5 accounts to prat about with then....

Cheers for the quick response though :)

I*'m not an expert but I just moved onto a new pc and couldn't find a way to do it.. like you I have many personal and business acounts.. tangled webs weaved!!!

Maybe somebody else knows better!

What OS are you using and what are you migrating too. What you want to achieve can be easily done using the Easy Transfer Wizzard. Vista version here and XP version here. Nice tools to use when upgrading to a new OS or transfering to a new machine.

If I were doing it I'd simply open each one, tools>email accounts. Then click change as if i was going to edit them and just do a print screen for each one - won't take too long all the info will be there

You are more than welcome :)

Good link, thanks for the info.

In Windows > Accessories > System Tools > File and Settings Transfer Wizard & select what you want transfered.

That link is to the old tool. It's better to download the latest version.
