Just picked up my 40D

Can't wait to get playing with it, i've had a quick play but stuck the battery on charge.

Tis a little bit different from the 400D, more so than I expected, but it'll be reet.

My Really Right Stuff ballhead arrived in the UK today, so went too pick it up rather than wait until residential delivery on Monday, and its AWESOME. again, I sold stuff on here to raise the funds to get that

Indeed mate, the xbox had to go, aswell as the 400D, and a few other bits, but i'd rather have the camera over any of it.

You will have a lot of fun with it, I am doing the same as you in that I am selling things, slight difference in that my end product will be a 70-200 2.8 IS (and it won't be new) but it will be worth it in the end!!
