Hi All,
Has anyone here had experience selling items to MPBPhotographic? I have just received an email from them stating that my collection had not taken place as planned. In fact the gear was collected on Monday as agreed. Clearly, it has not arrived and I am wondering if they arrange insurance? It's a bit worrying given that it was close to £700 worth of kit.
It's frustrating that they send their emails after closing time as I now have to stew on this overnight. Does anyone know if insurance is in place?

As they pickup,I think they should have insurance to cover any missing item,hope it works out fine :)
 
I've had great experience with them in the past. Search the forums for similar positives. I'm sure that you will be able to sort it out.
 
I recently sold some stuff to them from it being collected to money in my bank account was 4 days. E-mail is the best way to contact them even though it can take about half a day for a reply but i guess there very busy guys.
 
Just had a quick read of their T&C's.

15. CONDITIONS OF OUR COURIER SERVICE

15.1 Only customers within the UK are eligable for our free courier service.

15.2 MPB Photographic offers customers a number of ways to send your items to us for FREE. They include using:

15.2.1 Our FREE insured Courier Service, which is offered to customers within the UK.

I hope it didn't come across that I was being critical of MPB, that wasn't my intention. :)
 
Sounds like they could have emailed you by mistake & it was meant for another customer?

I felt exactly same the same when it happen to me,you didn't come across as being to critical just a bit worried :)

I don't think so. They quoted the correct reference, so I believe it was for me.
Thanks simonblue, I'm glad I didn't appear to be criticising MPB.
 
Just thought I would let you all know that I phoned MPB this morning and when they checked, they had received my kit. Phew!

Just repeating the other good feedback, I traded a couple of lenses with them last month - excellent service.
Traded 2 old lenses for one they had in stock, all fast efficient and insured. Well happy.
