just tried to use the new mpb site on my I.pad ,what a disaster ,after trying for 10 minutes to access used canon e.f mount lenses I finally gave up in despair .whoever thought up this new layout wants sacking with a size 10 boot up there jacksy ..

What's the problem Jeff? I've just managed to put a whole wedge of ef glass in my basket on my posh pad with no trouble at all and I don't even use canon gear.

I agree. It doesn't play nicely at all on my iPad 2 running iOS9. The menus pop up and disappear. When I can actually access the menus the selections are unresponsive. I've seen this kind of template used on other web sites and they don't work well on my iPad.

its more than likely that its to do with my older i-pad 2 as rob says ,but a pain in the butt .looks like the developer simply ASSUMES that every viewer has the latest equipment ,luckily my i-mac is up to spec

It's a pain for me on my laptop!

Yep their website really is awful now.

I went on there there other day to place an order and ended up getting so frustrated with it that I killed it and bought the kit elsewhere.

I've actually done this once since the new site went live as well. Really not good when a redesign of what was a perfectly usable website is bad enough to lose business.

Still struggling with the site, would love to know if business has been slower as a result as I've certainly given up trying now. A gem from today...

Not just MPB, I've noticed the menus on a lot of sites don't play well with the standars android browser but using chrome they do so might be worth trying chrome on the iPad.

That was with Chrome on a desktop.

That's not a browser or website issue. Clearly somebody has put the wrong lenses in the Fuji category.

The issue is the interface between the chair and the keyboard.

When you sort it some ways it's fine, it's when you mess around with the order it goes mental and pulls in other lenses. Seems like a bug to me rather than poor categorisation.

Okay. I'm new to Android as well and Chrome is my standard browser. I would have assumed that be the case on all android devices as they are both Google products.

Is yours a nexus? As they run stock Android where as a lot of the manufacturers like Samsung and LG put a lot of their own software on the devices too, browsers, calendar, etc.

Must admit, I didn't play with it. If that's what happens then it certainly looks like an AJAX bug.

I have a Moto G.
Bloody annoying if manufacturers add browsers that don't comply with modern web standards.

Only ever used them once. The lens arrived filthy. Took ages to clean it properly.

Not been on their site since last summer but decided to have a look last night. Just could not filter the correct used items. Last year it worked fine.

I gave up in the end and had a look on Wex instead

Works fine for me on my phone, iPad and mac.

its working a lot better now that it was when this thread started - guess they had som teething issues

Agree the usability has nose dived with the latest changes. Pretty dire actually.

I've just sold some stuff to MPB, it seemed to take a little longer to get it sorted than on previous occasions but no real problems,
I just put it down to them being busy.

I used it a couple of days ago and it was fine, different sure but I searched for something and found it straight away using the filters

After using a couple of times lately , I'm finding it much better . The site seems much slicker on my phone than the first launch .

Is still very poor. One of the best sales prevention websites I have ever seen.

I've not tried to buy anything on it so can't fully comment , but at least if there's multiple of the same item you can just close those now instead of having to start over again .
