Just bought a Tamron 90mm Di from MPB Photographic. I notice they advertise at the top of the forum and I guess they pay a contribution for doing so. They specialise in 2nd hand stuff for Canon and Nikon.

In this climate where everyone is so quick to complain about everything, I just thought I'd post a little praise for MPB...

Ordered the lens, which was described as "mint", yesterday morning from their website and it was delivered this morning, well packaged... checked out the lens and I'd have to agree, it is mint... it even still had the polythene bags for the lens and the hood...! Tried it this evening and everything seems to work as it should

The lens was also removed from their website pretty quickly too, so it looks like their stock is kept up to date.

They also offer 6 months warranty an items too, which can't be bad.

So, MPB Photographic... good service, keep it up :D

They are very good Darren. I have been very happy when I have used them in the past. They have a thread on TP that they update regularly with stock that is in / coming in so sometimes TP members get a heads up about a good deal

Chris :)

I'll chime in here and agree. Ordered 7D + grip last Tuesday evening. Got a call wednesday morning to confirm address as it was different to my billing address (nice to know they check these things) and by 10am Thursday I had a nice shiny camera and grip to play with.

On a note about stock being kept up to date. I'm pretty sure the listing is removed instantly once you confirm payment as I was going to have a quick check on something for the grip on it's listing but It said the item had been sold. So we do actually have a camera equipment supplier with live stock updates it seems.

Thanks again to MPB and Matt.

Must agree, got a 50d off them, when I got it it was better than advertized.

I got a 40d from them. In good condition as described and with only 5k shots on the clock! Very happy so far.

Bumpy. I've got a mint Tokina 50-135 off them. PX'd my old 18-70mm in. Excellent communication, service and delivery, and the lens really is mint condition

I can vouch for the same also.

Ordered a few things off them in the past, such as a 580EX MKI and also a Canon BP-E2 battery grip.

Both of them were delivered VERY quickly and very friendly chap on the phone who explained the conditions to me, and even went into the warehouse and physically checked also (not just relying on the info on the computer screen :P)

Good prices also :P

I would also like to say how good they are! I have had a 5d Mk1, bg-e4 grip and an st-e2 wireless tranmitter from them, all have arrived promptly and all have been in great condition.

Also regarding stock as mentioned above their site seems to remove the item from the site right away once purchased.

Yea, they are right good.

I've had three items off of Matt Barker and his crew so far; 110% happy with the first two, the third I had a quibble with, but Matt was completely cool about it and provided me with a full refund (including the p&p) as soon as I'd returned it. Won't hesitate to use them again

Can't agree more, nothing but praise from me as well. Ordered a D300 on thursday it moved of the page within 10 minutes and arrived monday morning and it was mintier than a packet of minty mints.
