Hello, This is my first posting.
I read in the letters page in the computer section of The Guardian last week that Mark Oldreive (a member of talkphotography.co.uk) received a letter from MP Tony McNulty about photographer's rights. I'd like to know if this is available online or somewhere in this forum.

Hi Itchysoft, thanks for popping along.

Indeed Mark Oldrieve posted on the Guardians website, and he, like many of us have received a letter from our MP's.

The link Jimmy_Lemon gives is the topic in question, and I think you'll find a scan of someones letter in there.

While the letter is basically stating that the MP in question won't sign the EDM, they actually state that it is not illegal to photograph people in a public place, which is handy, especially as it's on Home Office headed paper. Very handy to carry in your bag with you :)
