It used to be "this gun is loaded", then someone reckoned it was potentially offensive :bonk:

maddog.mark: go to about:config, go through the warning, right click in the list of options and go New -> Boolean, type "extensions.checkCompatibility" in the next box, then select false. Restart Firefox, and it should stop caring about extensions that don't say they're compatible with Fx3.

Fx2 does that too.

I've done this but still can't get two extensions to work.

Right click, New > Boolean

Name extensions.checkCompatibility
Option false

That's sorted it now thanks.

Now just to get back Smart Bookmark Folders and Tags Folders back. I deleted them in the RC3 because the took to much room on my toolbar, but would like to give them another go.
 
browser.places.createdSmartBookmarks - set that to false, and restart.
 
I'm afraid that did not work.

As you can see the Smart Bookmarks folder is not on my toolbar.

Pity your in Scotland Tolien, could do with you at my home just to reset all the cock-ups I've made :lol:

Using version 3 now, but it seems to mess with Wordpress 2.5.1. Anyone else having issues with Wordpress?

Piclens - it's so cool
Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer - It allows you to keep the same bookmarks on a number of computers - mine works across 3 machines !
Dictionary/spelling - Really handy for forums with grumpy "I'm perfect" types
Exif viewer - I wonder what that's for :lol:

My bad, that's an old setting :(

Set browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion to 0, and restart.
 
Sort out now, got it to look like more or less like I had FF2 :)


Wordpress is working fine for me too

There should be a greasemonkey update for FF3, I've got it. The monkey looks better :P
