I haven't had a shave for three weeks, my wife and children will be back next week? Should mow or grow?

Ps. My mrs will have the veto vote. The secret to a happy marriage :)

Yer heads on upside down Mate :p

Honestly though, I don't get this new fashion with really young blokes and a face full of hair, usually ginger too, makes them look like something out of the Victorian age.
But of course us older chaps look distinguished

I trimmed down to a goatee a couple of months ago, my Mrs took one look and said... 'We never discussed this', then didn't talk to me for the rest of the evening.

I've grown it back.

Just for balance, this is the same lady who didn't fall out with me when I missed the last train from York, and she had to make a 2 hr round trip to come and pick me up at 11pm (she's normally in bed at 10) :$

Clean shaved knocks years off, thats what I keep getting told, so I would shave (y)

I can already hear that comment in no uncertain words ;)

You have the same eyebrows as me, a little trim I think. My eyebrow hair catches my eyelash, and it feels like a hair in my eye. So i often give em a trim :)

My Barber(ess) does that for me at the same time as the fourpenny all off :D

I have a neat little trimmer for that, trims hair off most parts
Yep she does my ears too

Talking of ears, the tip is directly proportionate, to the boob to ear ratio, while she is cutting :D

Damn they were only done three weeks ago. When you get older those brows grow :(

You can have it off for fourpence? You've been to Sheffield for "Happy Hour", haven't you? ;)

Personally, I say #1 or #2 all over once or twice a month. Quick, respectable, easy. "Take 2 bottles into the shower? No, just use soap all over!!!"

I'd mow what's left on the top of your napper too while your at, go for the skin look. This hanging on to whats left of your hair is overrated:)

You are right, it is inevitable. I feel like I need to loose a bit more weight before I do that.

Shaving daily (or twice daily if necessary) has always struck me as a waste of time when a close cropped head looks tidy even straight out of bed! No brushing, quick drying, 10 minutes with a set of Wahl (other trimmers exist but see what brand most barbers and hairdressers use...) trimmers restores a uniform length and there's no razor rash! I haven't shaved my beard off for several years now but do so sometimes to wind Mrs Nod up - she prefers me bearded. (I can see her point actually - the more of my face that's hidden, the better!!!)

Nothing wrong with us young folk growing a beard ;) Just so long as it isn't some spotty 20 something trying to pass patches of fluff off as a beard :) most of my ginger has turned white now anyway :(

Personally I'd say keep, but keep it tidy. My wife is not so keen on mine, but I've told her to get used to it. 18 months later and she's now got used to it

I have used my, Remington :), trimmer. If I didn't it would be as uneven in length as my lawn.

Keep as is JP.
Looks good! :-)

I'd keep it. But then I'm biased. I've had a trimmed beard since my university days.
