This is my first attempt at this type of shot and it was very rush rush and out of the blue. I popped out for the weekly shop and decided to get a couple of images of my Mini seen as the camera was in the car.

I thought i'd try and see if I could make it look like a 'rig' shot. After about an hour and a half trying to get to grips with CS6 (Massive headache as I use Lightroom) this is the end result. I think its ok, a bit rough and ready but worth it.

What do you think?

better than I could have done, but I would say the wheels need to be blurred as well, or at least to the same degree as the background to give a more realistic impression of movement. The static tree branches in the top left corner also need to be blurred.

As above, in the fakery game detail is everything. To do the wheels find your self a side on high res isolated image of your mini rims... Cut them out and place on a layer then use radial blur, copy the result into your main image... Use perspective and warp tools to place over the existing, paint over the old rims :) should take about 10 mins :)
