Moving icons on desktop

Can anyone please help with this, it seems every couple of weeks my desktop icons have started to move by their own accord, it's actually driving me nuts at the moment as I then have to move them all around again manually, I have tried unticking the boxes for auto arranging icons but it's still happening, so any help would be much appreciated, I'm running windows 10 64bit
 
It's not set to adjust resolution so I guess not

Or to put it a different way, do you connect to different monitors? that can cause icon re-organisation.
 
I have 2 monitors permanently connected to the tower but it's never been a problem till just recently, the last couple of months to be precise.
 
Could someone be 'having some fun' with you?
 
I've had it happen a few times and it is annoying ... the links above don't help me unfortunately.

Just tried and it seems ok, having said that I had already rearranged them again so will have to wait and see, I should know within the next couple of weeks, lol.

I know what you mean it drives me nuts as I have quite a few icons.
