well after 10 years living in Germany we are coming back to the UK (Pirbright, SE England)

looking forward to getting involved with some of the meets etc and being a tourist in my own country!

UK or Anywhere else? I think I know the answer.

I returned here after 11 years in Germany - that was some 20 years ago and I still miss the place. Very fond memories. We still go back occasionally - like only last week!

I know you probably don't have a choice. But if I did, I'd know what I'd do :)

I'm staying out here when I finish...hated it when I got posted back the The 'Shot this year - roads too crowded, people too rude...

Germany is really nice...and especially today when it's 27C and clear blue skies...

Passed Canmore on a day off when we went to Banff, we were staying at TEC...even that's better than Crowfoot!
 
Not been there,
however if I can wangle it I want the Gunfitter job in A line in 3 yrs.
Then 3 yrs later I emigrate!
 
TEC = not a nice place to stay...20 man rooms meant for a 2 night stopover for AT...we spent a week there. It sucked...it really sucked. Now staying in a 4 star hotel (courtesy of Spruce Meadows) which is freaking awesome...I'm currently our unit record holder for the waterslide...

11 Light Bde, Aldershot (soon to be sunny Afghan)...

...was with 7 Armd Bde up at Hohne...met my GF while here and we now have a place in Iserlohn, NRW...very nice now that the local barracks have all gone...lol
