Hi folks,

My local framer is off on an extended holiday and I need three mounts for framing 14x11" photographs in 20x16" frames. I've been looking on-line and came across www.picturelizard.co.uk and was wondering if anyone has experience of using their bevel edge mounts?

For 3off they come to £2.72 (+vat_ each) and I can pick them up next day in Swindon .... if I don't get lost on the magic roundabout :eek:

Any experience of them? Horror stories/good things to say?
 
Thanks Steve. I picked up the mounts I needed from PictureLizard today (they were ordered and ready yesterday but I wasn't able to collect until this morning) and am very pleased with them. They're equally as good as my local guy ... and significantly lower cost. I thnk I'll be having a discussion about price with the local guy when he gets back from his holiday :)

These guys are good for a bulk purchase, but their delivery costs are big (they do a very good job of packaging) and are slow to produce and dispatch the item (considering the charge), expect 7 days from order to delivery.
 
Cheers Andreas, my query was really just to see if anyone knew where I could get three mounts done quickly. I'll be back to using my local framer once he gets home ... and we've had a chat about costs :)
 
I ordered with Picture lizard after seeing your link, really good turn around, had my order within 2 days and everything was great
 
Hi Steven, I was quite satisfied with the mounts I got from PL but they're not the same quality that my local supplier provides. I won't be telling him that when we meet on Tuesday though ......

I placed the order one day for collection from their trade counter the next and had an email about an hour after placing the order to say they were ready for collection. All-in-all I can't fault either the service or price.
