Motorway Madness...

OMG.....

Watched it last night. Absolute madness. I really felt for both the car and LGV driver, I can`t imagine the effect it would`ve had on them.

amazing, it was on BBC @ 9PM last night... they were either on something or determined to kill themselves...

Not necessarily, maybe they were being forced to work in the sex trade, or worse.

Either way, they had to be pretty desperate, or mentally unstable.

I think both desperate and unstable is definate. You are indeed correct though, they could clearly be in very difficult positions.

Gary.

Saw this last night.
Could not belive what I was seeing, felt so sorry for everyone involved.

That poor trucker must have terrible nightmares:shake:

just seen this on another forum! Could it be that bad?

A bit harsh Matt. You don't know what must have been so bad in their lives to drive them to this.

I saw this on the news last night too...

I wonder what drove them to behave in such a way. Obvious probs of some kind...

Felt sorry for them and the drivers who hit them...

Amazing footage.

i watched it to the end but they never mentioned what happened to the girls or why they went so nuts..
my money is on Lucy being in the Sky with Diamonds

I just come on here to post that very link.
Unbelavilbe.
What a pair of idiots.
Serves them right getting run over.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would willingly run out in front of 70mph traffic. So to say they were idiots and that it serves them right is just plain stupid. What about the drivers? They ran into 2 people. Do you think they thought "Well you shouldn't have been there should you. Glad I hit you at 70 mph." This nearly happened to me a few months ago. Random topless man running around the motorway. Thankfully I only just joined the motorway so I was able to see him from the on ramp thing. I read in the paper that he was sectioned. So there must have been something seriously wrong here for these two to do this. Suicide maybe. Perhaps there was something so bad in their life that they needed a break from it and this was the only way. Its not possible for us to really say right now. We'll just have to wait until a report comes out.

Yeah watched it last night, how they wasnt killed is beyond me. :shake:

Tough couple of gals though... Hard to believe they're Sweedish, I thought they only made 'em like that in Newcastle...!

A bit harsh Matt. You don't know what must have been so bad in their lives to drive them to this.

not really , if they wan`t to kill them selves take some pills or jump of a cliff. don`t put others at risk .

were they tested for drugs :cuckoo:

Can't believe one of them was in Prison for a DAY. They should be carted to the Mental House and get their head checked, jesus.

I'm sure they were not attempting suicide. Why were they walking along the mway and central reservation if that were the case. Must have been high on something.

What a waste of a couple of tall, blond, Scandinavians :(

Some people are weird, but them ladies beats them all by miles. What are they doing? :S

OMG! How could they possibly have survived?

Just watched the full video of this unbelievable event complete with a police officer threatening to seize the camera of any motorist he sees taking a picture!

Luckily for him, no-one was there with their 'Photographers Rights' pamphlet!

In 1990 I witnessed a suicide on the M6, I was traveling southbound at 8am,as I approached the bridge at J10 I saw a guy starting to climb over the barrier on the northbound side, not something you see every day, I looked at him thinking what is he doing.

next thing he's off and falling, I reacted in exactly the same way as that copper in the video, a loud high pitched NOOOOOOOOOOO

There was nothing I could do as I was doing 50mph on the other side of the road so I picked the phone up and called the police.

A few days later I got a phone call, a copper came round my house and I had to give a statement, then I had to go to Walsall and give evidence in front of all his family about this guys last moments on earth.

Not something I ever want to see again :( I really feel for the drivers involved in this incident.
