Hi guys, I'm just after a quick bit of advice about which company offers the best value PLI cover for motorsport photography. I have the opportunity to do quite a lot of media side work this season, but I need Liability Insurance to make that happen. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I am covered by Ageas via a broker called B Portwood & Co Ltd tel: 0844 826616, I have 5 million PLI cover for around £80 a year. Probably not the cheapest but they have always been very polite and courteous and don't bombard you with mails or calls etc which makes a refreshing change.

Although they will not cover me for office work in Nuclear Power Stations :wacky:
 
Simply is the way forward comrades.

I got fed up of the specialist "photographic" insurers a few years back - bandits and economic criminals the lot of them!

I know this is an old thread just wondered what prices people were getting for Public liability insurance now and where was best to go .

I was with simply business for a few years but I've gone with direct line this year as they were almost exactly half the price

Hey, sorry missed your question - yes, have recently renewed for my 2025 season and still the same.
