Well were off again with what looks to be a fantastic season and crazy Moto3 races...thought we could do with a thread as we have F1 etc

Moto3 was as crazy and as entertaining as usual - hopefully should be a fantastic season and if the 1st race is anything to go by, could be the actual highlight of the race weekend as previous years...

Moto2 - well, what the hell happened there, 9 jump starts and a bit of a cock up from race control - spoilt what could have been a superb race, Danny Kent doing well (and being a little lucky from the jump start fiasco) and Sam Lowes is riding the bike in his usual exiting style, dumping it down 4 gears and backing it in :)

MotoGP - hopefully once the teams sort out the new tyres and the standard ECU, it'll bunch up some and be good racing. Good to see the tyres smoking though :)

And BT Sport's Keith and Jullian are excellent and really gel together adding a lot to the racing for me...

I must say though, all the bikes looked absolutely stunning under the lights

Not a fan of Keith Huewen, he makes far too many stupid errors. Toby Moody was a much better partner with Julian.
Always a massive fan of racing under the lights, you get to see the riders eyes and the carbon discs glowing red too.
Looking forward to the next round and can't come soon enough.

So long as the Spaniards don't kipper up Rossi and please don't let the old boy crash and die in the next 2 years, odd Yamaha signed Rossi for 2 more years before their number 1 rider and current world champion.
Medium rear tyre time pretty similar to a soft one, whats that all about? Not sure about the wings on the Yam, the Duke's look OK though.
Definitely not a fan of the commentators, either of them. Bring back Parish and his mate, Suzy Perry wasn't shabby either

Yes Parish was good. Suzy Perry is back with the MotoGP for several races this year having not gone to C4 for F1.

Can't make my mind up about the wings on the Ducati, but what the hell was the tea tray on the Yamaha ???

I think they need to get rid of them all and quickly.

Yes really good to see the eyes - and the concentration in their eyes [emoji41]

Motogp was a little too nicely nicely but it's only the first race.

A few riders mentioned a flicker in the post race interviews, Sam was the first to move so I blame him :-D.

Moto3 as mad as ever with slip streaming still too big a factor as ever as it makes it a lottery too many times.

Not long for BSB.

Anyone watch this weekends last race...so many turn 1 crashes

Moto 3 _ The power of Pawi !!! - how he didn't bin it, I don't know, but really well done to the lad :)

Moto 2 was another good race, Sam Lowes doing well and hopefully will have a good year.

Moto GP - well, mixed up and uncertainty, tyre issues and then the weather - the flag to flag race was good, but feel it stopped us have a right battle with MM and VR.

And what about the 2 Ducati's - I bet there were some words said afterwards.

Austin this weekend :D bring on more of the same

Yes. It was an interesting weekend. I cant help but wonder if the pressures getting to Lorenzo again and were going to see some silly mistakes from him. Also I wonder if he will get the same level of support as Rossi if he does sign for Ducati.

Yes, he binned it further round turn 1 during the race than normal...

I think, (in hindsight) this might be why Rossi announced he had another 2 year Yamaha deal so soon and quickly - to disrupt Lorenzo and maybe push him and unsettle him as I think he needs to be number 1 and he won't be at Yamaha for at least the next 2 years - they do so Rossi is very good at mind games ;)

Truly gutted about Salom, he was a great guy. A bit of a freak accident. Thought go out to his family, friends and team :(

Yes, sounds like a very freak accident - listening to 'Hodgy' seems he lost it in an unusual place, but with no gravel there, he went flying into the airbags without loosing any momentum - unfortunately he also collected his bike at exactly the same spot... :(
