Who's gonna win then..........

No brainer really Stoner again yawn.

I hope i'm wrong. Rossi is on another mule of a bike and with the loss of Simoncelli, we may get processional racing.

With Rossi in his final years of racing it's such a shame he is not on a competitive bike. Actually it's not just a shame it's huge waste of a talent that we are very lucky to be witnessing.

I think a Honda will win it again this year, but a healthy Pedrosa (for the first time in about 4 years) could push Stoner a lot closer than in previous years.

The Duc is still a way off being the best it can be, but the aluminium frame should make adjustment/improvement both quicker and easier, so it may be a bit more competitive toward the middle of the year. Not enough for VR to be in with a shout sadly, but we should at least see him push for a podium this year.

Yamaha's will be there or there abouts again with Jorge, and depending on him Mum's mood, Spies could win a few. Tech 3 might surprise a few too.

For me though, the big one this year will be Moto2. Real chance for Bradders to take the title.

Hoping Rossi can be competitive this year, but really cant see anyone for the title except Stoner, Lorenzo or Pedrosa.

Unfortunately I don't think Bradley Smith will win the Moto2 - its got to be Marquez really. Redding looked good in early practice test sessions but not the last test.

Think (and hope) Dovi will surprise a few and could show up Crutchlow (ps, I like Crutchlow, but think Dovi will do better this year). Would like to see Dovi get a couple of podiums ahead of at least 1 Repsol Honda

Really hope Crutchlow has a great year this time, the deal with Smith could see him leave MotoGP if he doesn't impress another team. Looking forwards to the action between claiming rule teams as well. Also HD this year!

I wish the BBC team had a bit more vim. Matt Roberts is good on the paddock but as an anchor he is lacking. It would be nice to have Suzie Perry back :)

I really enjoy WSB but it's not on terrestrial :( Loved the Foggy against Chili races :)

We had that new girls last year? ...pretty but actually seemed to know loads and loved it, not bad I thought.

...Only one thing stopped VR being competitive last year, that bloody front end washing out ...if he can get passed that nightmare with this new machine he may well show us a few more wins yet...hes still in the potential top four for me.

Marquez I agree, got it all tied up tight and confident, pretty untouchable, but hey anything can happen right.

I hope to see more coverage of the Irish road racing, missed the lot last year.

Good to see Spalders back to his best, "The CRT bikes handlebars are 30mm shorter than the prototype bikes", i wonder how he finds this out considering how secretive the teams are on technical details

The BBC coverage is a bit vague on motogp as usual. They need to up the game.

Agreed - we get 7 hours of the touring car racing one weekend (what I saw of it was great !) and this weekend I need to dig to find out if and when motogp is even on the telly..!
Surely it deserves to be a little better promoted ?

Yep Steve, and the web site is crapola too. Hardly ever updated. I think the web master is in charge of the main site, so he can't be arsed to update it.

At the very least they should say when the coverage will be without having to search and search again for when they will be showing it.

Another thing, why isn't the quali on bbc iplayer? Infuriating

Its just pants as usual, F1 gets hours of time, like so much they struggle to fill it with dull waffle ... Horses is all about money, so that always get covered, as per footy, and the cars... bloody boat race has no problem finding a slot (elitist yes) but oh the bikes has no space left ....

Far too exciting ....

...for sheep.

Bhaaaa.

live on eurosport (free on sky) at 4:45pm today, 4 hour coverage

Sure it's free. When had Sky last year eurosports was not available (basic + knowledge+kids packs)

I get Eurosports from Orange but they do not update handset support so can't view on my GNEX.

Red button for me (BBC Midlands news has highlighted MotoGP a few times and listed times)

May tempt me back to Sky for TV. I remember when it was last free before they added it to sports package. Hopefully freesat can offer something with it.

I do like the BBC coverage of MotoGP and Qatar is always a repeated race and live via red button. At least it's repeated in HD :)

Hmm. We don't have sky, nor can we get channel 301, and I don't know what this red button thingie is.
It looks like iplayer for me at some stage, or a very late night staying up will close to midnight - not a good thing for one as old as me...

Hi Steve if you receive digital I'm pretty sure you can get the red button. It's n now!

Well done Cal. Enjoyable race and was strange that Casey got arm pump. I have had that when moto crossing and its like your forearms are fill with lead.

Sometimes I hate being a father...
After several hours of being told by my kids then shown by my kids that we didn't get channel 301 and red button was for sky only my wife and I got hold of the remote, had a play and guess what - all of a sudden we had the motogp up on the screen...!!!
I got to see the end of moto3, all of moto2 and most of the big one - Yay, as they say, or boring as the kids both said.

Roll on the next race !

Well done Cal.

Couldn't agree more, a superb race, just a shame him and dovi got dropped from the front 3, could have been great to watch.

was strange that Casey got arm pump

I was listening during Qualifying (I think it was) and the commentators were pointing out that throughout the winter tests and practice sessions, Stoner hadn't done any full race simulations, instead opting for 2-3 laps here, half a dozen there, and returning to the garage to sit out the session.

I would suspect (having never had arm pump) that he simply wasn't as physically fit as he thought he would be. A bit like jumping on a bike and cycling Lands End to John O'Groats after only a couple of rides around the block.

After the race on Eurosport Toby Moody suggested that maybe the team should have told Casey to do full race simulations. Julian Ryder pointed out that Stoner would probably have refused

I heard Coke and Monster were going to try and buy a Yamaha seat for him!!

If you get chance, check out the Q&A interview with Rossi on motogp website.
Lasts about 20mins and is very funny.

Phone call today did i want tickets for silverstone oh go on then

Of course rumour has it I may be able to get in the pits on Friday for practice but we will see

Arm pump is the worst, I too used to get it when I rode MX
