Mother in law

Just for balance though..... my ex-MiL was a royal PITA!!!!

Nothing that you'd call out as obvious but uber passive/aggressive in her ways, she'd never make a decision about what she wanted to do, where she wanted to go but needless to say whoever chose it would be in the wrong.

One incident that springs to mind was a lazy Sunday afternoon her and the FiL were having a snooze and the ice cream van came round. She saw he was awake at this point but pretended to be asleep. She didn't talk to him for a week as he didn't wake her up and ask her if she wanted an ice cream..... I would stack money on it he'd have been in the wrong if he'd have woken her up.

I could pretty much write a book on that family

10 days she's been here. And switched the central heating onto constant when she arrived. Its not been off yet. :(Do you think British Gas can install hive tomorrow?

Whose house is it?
Foot down time!!
(Or 6 foot if she carries on ;) )

I think you have to take some responsibility for that, I'm not convinced she worked out "how" the system works on her own, :D

Time to start watching evening TV in string vest and underkex!

Me neither. Neighbour doesn't like it when I sit in the conservatory but that's her problem - she should lock me out of it!

Oh she's more then capable of working it out on her own

That's not good :(
Is it a remote electronic controller?
if so take it with you when you go out / to work
Or just hide it?

My MIL is being a Royal PITA at the moment. My eldest is currently unemployed so she is using him as her personal chauffer at the moment. Sadly the sister -in-law's husband is unreliable, sister in law is unable to drive at the moment due to epilepsy, I'm usually at work, so my son keeps getting lumbered. Trouble is, it's getting more and more frequent, I know my son is getting fed up with it, my wife won't drive her mother because her mother criticises her driving even though she has never driven.

Now laughing manically and have the sort of smile that would cause any psychiatrist to reach for the nearest straight jacket while I'm singing 'ding dong she is gone' too the tune of something from wizard of oz :)

I'll cancel the additional paving slabs ;)
