I was just looking at the "Why use Flickr" thread and it reminded me to check my stats. Looking through the referrers I came across a link from a taxidermy site for one of my images.:lol:

Although I'm not sure the otter will be too pleased!

So where's the most random place you've found one of your images?
 
I saw two of my photos used a props on a prime time ITV drama a few years ago (and the photos were central to the plot).
 
i found a couple of photos on my memory card...which seems to indicate i actually took some..
 
Someone had a Jet plane for sale on ebay, and one of my pictures was used.

I found one of mine in a B & B on the north coast of Scotland on there wall.
 
I suddenly started getting about 100 visits to my site a day from Ebay.. I traced that they were using some of my 4x4 pictures as they always entered from ebay onto them but I couldnt track what auction it was because it only came up as "cgi.ebay.co.uk"

Just had a look at my flickr stats, what exactly are 'referrers'? Because i've got some strange 'referrers' to some of my pics, namely 'Yahoo! Malaysia Travel' and some arabic blog site?!
 
Not exactly an image but........

A few years ago (2003 to be exact) Suzuki released a new bike, the SV1000S and a mate of mine ran a dealership. He asked me to take it out for a couple of hours and do a review for his web site.

Well I also put the review on my site as well. Low and behold, about 4 weeks later I come across some guy selling T shirts at a bike show, one of which had the very same SV1000S logo that I created for my site !!!

As it happens, we had a copy of the web page with us. He was stuffed, and I walked off with his stock of 10 or so T shirts. Cheeky [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER]!
