Oooooh yeah, I forgot about him. I was driving to Yeovil a couple of weekends ago and the only station I could reliably get was one of the commercial ones. (Damn you 5 live!) I must have heard that at least a dozen times.

Don't forget the hardship cases as well, This is Isha, shes only 5 and walks 40 miles everyday to get the water because her goverment spent 130 million on their space programme last year instead of basic services.

Agreed, particularly on kids channels, should be a law against it. Targeting toddlers with this **** is not on.

Halifax radio ad's... cringey

I don't listen to the car radio much and when I do it's the BBC radio stations. But for a so-called non-commercial channel, Radio 1 seems to spend more time broadcasting its own self-promotion and weekend events than any commercial channel does with ads.

Anyway, regardless of what you think of UK ads, enjoy it while you can. One day we'll be like the US. Five or six repetitive shouty ad breaks an hour, all sychronised across the channels so there'll be no escape.

isa... isa ? Im not normally violent, but one of those Halifax ads makes me want to punch the woman in it - the one with a keyboard or something.


We used to laugh at the Cheryl Cole ads, "dull, lifeless, limp?" Yes Cheryl, nice of you to review your own album.

I quite like the blonde bird in the Halifax ad (the one with the brunette)....

I think they are all a case of "Familiarity breeds contempt". Yes they are annoying to start with, but you end up hearing their forced shoutyness sooooo meannnnnyyyy tiiiiiimmmmeeessss!!!! They all end up seriously bloody annoying. The worst ever was the Jamster ads, Crazy Frog FTW!
