Hi,

I'm Steve from Kent, I've been taking photos for a few years now but still have lots to learn. I started out just taking photos of the kids when they were small and eventually decided to get a DSLR to keep up with them when they were running around so much (I was only getting lots of blurred shots with our point and shoot).

I now use a D80 and have been doing a bit of macro stuff recently, would also like to have a go at a bit of long exposure stuff if I can find the time between work and family.

Anyway, looking forward to looking at what others do and learning from you all.

Hi Steve, a warm welcome from me also. The Nature forum here is populated with some really good photographers if you are interested in macros of wildlife. Should get some good tips.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I've been having a quick look around the forum and when I get a bit more time I'll try and post a bit.

@gary43 ,I've enjoyed looking at the wildlife macros a bit already and am looking forward to learning from some obviously very talented photographers.
