Morning light if it's mostly cloudy?

Could be a good thing as it'll make you think harder to get a good shot. Look for spiderwebs, interesting tree shapes against the sky, interesting cloud formations, man-made stuff such as powerlines and towers. A flat overcast can be excellent for wildlife as the light is even and without harsh shadows.

The 'landscapes must only be done at dusk and dawn' mantra is rubbish.

Was nt much of a sunrise :(

But got some shots of the mill, inside the cathedral, empty streets, the river, the floods and tree reflections with a big stopper....

Will post some links to the better shots later in the week....
 
See they weren't so bad - you don't need a clear sky for landscapes, in fact anything OTHER than a clear blue sky or a flat grey one will work.
