Tessa Bunney has been photographing the people who use the various ways of fishing practiced in Morecambe Bay for a number of years. The exhibition is a combination of photos and explanatory text and quotes. being held in a small mission chapel right on the edge of the Lune estuary, accessible only when the tide allows, puts it in context.
The show was planned to close at the end of this month but has been extendedto the end of August.
Well worth a visit for anyone interested in traditional fishing methods, local history and photography. If you're lucky Tessa might be there, as she was on my visit yesterday, and she's got plenty of stories to tell about working on projects.
