Morning!

I've been a snapper on and off for years - I had a 35mm Praktika when I was a teenager - but have only recently started taking photography seriously. I'm working had at improving my picture-taking and editing skills and have recently upgraded from a compact to a m4/3 camera.

I've signed up here as the critique seems both more friendly and useful than elsewhere. A dozen comments saying 'fab' don't help, nor does a comment like 'does nothing for me'.

... to which end, must go and work out how to post something here for some feedback.

Have a good look around the site and don't be afraid to get stuck in. :)

Welcome Simon,
I too started with a 35mm Practica in my teens. It never had a meter, but had a Zeiss Tessar lens that gave good results.
 
I still have my Pracktica MTL5 that I used in my teens. Produced some great pics with the lenses I had, and still have.
