Someone mentioned that she uploads her pics from Flickr to here v. easily. Is there a way of doing that minus having to go through e.g. tinypic? A quick way? They are all at the correct sizes for this forum now...

Also, can someone help a doofus and tell me how to share my Flickr link - both to put on here and to share with my Dad etc?

Do you mean show your pics from flickr?

If so.... go to the pic.... click on all sizes and I would say medium, right click and copy the location and put it between the tags (minus spaces) [ IMG ]LINK[ /IMG ]

What I usually do is, right click on the image I would like to post here, and menu appears (in firefox) theres an option labelled 'Copy image location' by selecting that it will copy the address for that particular image into the clipboard, return here and theres the 'insert image' icon with the mountain and sun. select that and paste into the text box that appears.

So heres the process.

1. Copy image location
2. return to TP.
3. Select Insert Image
4. Paste the copied location into the box.
5. Finish posting to TP.

To post a pic on the forum, right click on the picture you want to show, left click on Copy Link Location. Then when you post on here click on the 'Insert Image' icon above (it looks like a mountain ina box). Bingo, do a preview and you'll see your image in your post.

To do a link, type what you're going to call the link (eg My Flickr), highlight the text using your mouse, then use the 'Insert Link' button above (looks like the earth).

Try copying this code into your sig.

Right click the "flickrific" logo and choose "save lilnk as" then goto user control panel and edit signature then right click and paste into the dialogue box. Now when clicked on it should take you to your flickr stream.

OK my new problem is this: I can right click on the pic in my photostream but it's really small, as above..... I can't right click in the Sets and get the same options - nothing that says Copy at all...

You can not say medium I use full size as I only put my image up at 800pix wide I dont what full size photos up there anyone can pinch

JJ I eventually saw where it says "All sizes" and I did it from there

I too have started uploading at 800px at the wide end, and after selecting all sizes -> large this is the size I get.
