Took deliveries today of 2 c Canon 600EX-RT

Normally I take that number on the black sticker on the flash head as the serial.

However, that piece of paper which is the warranty card, under serial no....matches the side sticker.

Also, oddly enough only 1 of the flash came with a warranty card, the other didn't. Both flashes looks brand new, unused and in working order. The serial number in the head looks genuine, numbers/font and consistent, not doubting it is a fake serial sticker. Just curious why there is another one on the side and an additional one on the box.

Now the question is....What number do I use to put in my insurance??? Black sticker or White Sticker?

I guess it doesn't really matter if I just take photos of them and have my receipt on my credit card to proof purchase...but curious all the same.
