OK as part of my job at work I get the job of ordering new pool cars.. I pushed it to what I thought was the limit with my boss who gets to sign it off, so we have a nice new focus diesel with lots of buttons and toys coming in November.

Then I get an email from the lease company whose logo may look something similar to a rather large bank until it split in two a few months back.... if you want another clue It rhymes with Rex!

"Dear Sir Smith,

Thankyou for your order of a Ford Mustang 5.0 V8....."

Part of me wants to keep really quiet and look surprised when it turns up, however.........

I kind of like being a Sir as well, but going to go the dumb card.. email?? eh? ooohhh. Mustang... trouble is I will lose license in about 300 yds!

I've to order my new car soon - the list has been seriously reduced to a Fiesta, Focus or B Max. :( I wonder, if I order a Focus will a Mustang will turn up - fingers crossed. ;)

I'd also play dumb, when your boss protests,
tell him how dumbfounded and upset you are and you will email the CEO of the lease company Immediately.
(and hope he doesn't reply :D )
 
When he protests just hand him the keys , might change is mind , you don't know until you try

Downer will be , we're keeping it but you're paying for the fuel
