I'm down in Dublin for the weekend with the better half, booked a nice hotel simply *** i wanted to go to football match. ;-)

So now she's sick and I have to bring her back to the hotel - do I stay here with her or leave her in bed and head on?

Forget football surely your other half is more important, you can watch football another day. Football doesn't do your washing -ironing-cooking-cleaning and a thousand other jobs. You can't talk with a football or make joint decisions. You would look silly going on holiday with a football.

No dilema you stay with your wife.

football wins evrytime.she won't miss you for a couple of hours

No dilemma at all.

You unselfishly support the woman you married and you don't tell her you were considering anything else.

Down to Dublin ??

Congrats....where did my invitation go to ....

Footie rules

Depends, if she is just in bed and wants peace and quiet and sleep, then leave her to it.

If she feels miserable and wants company, stay

Man the f@** up and go to the game. It's what she wants you to do. She'll still be there when you get back:D

How about discussing it with her? Communicate, it's not rocket science.

No no no, this is the worst advice ever, by opening it to discussion, you run the risk of her believing she has a say in things. Get to the football.

:plusone: And ask her if she could make sure there is a meal ready when you get home :rules:

Cast your mind back to the last time you were ill. Then remember, did your beloved sit by your bedside holding your hand and mopping your fevered brow all day or did she say, "it's only a cold, you'll live you soft jesse" and then p&** off out with her mates/go shopping as per normal? If the latter, go to the football!

He's dead. RIP
