Moo

I'm afraid I'd be a vote for the Moo cards Allan. They ARE small, but in some ways this seems to be a good thing as people do actually put them somewhere safe straight away "Oh - I'll pop that in my wallet now in case I lose it" as with them being smaller than normal cards, they are reluctant just to shove them into a pocket. Plus of course you can get 100 cards printed up, with a range of different pics, then you can tailor the card you give to suit the person you are giving it to.

Moo :D I gave about 100 away today. Popular as hell.

 well that's two of us who've said exactly what Allan didn't want to hear. Anyone else?!

I have had 3 lots from photobox. 3 pics on one side and details on the other. Excellent quality every time. A number of people have commented on them and asked where I had them done. They are standard business card size and excellent quality card. 100 @ £9.99.

Hope this helps.

:)

Moo moo moo moo MOOOOOOOO

Nothing else is as good ;)

but you loose so much picture as its a different aspect to the standard 3:2

Can't deny that - but the trick is to play to the strengths of the unusual size, and choose pictures which really "work" for it - ie a landscape shot which lends itself to panoramic format would be a good example. I use this for one of mine

Ahh, got ya. Yes, in that case I take your point, a classic card shape may work better for you.

Thanks for the comment re the pic btw - it's Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.

Moo cards are ace for give-aways to friends, people you meet etc. They force you to think of some interesting crops at times too. People love them and nearly always comment - oohh how cool is that - sort of thing.

But for a serious business card I can see that others are the way to go.

Vistaprint and photobox are both fine and reasonably priced. Vistaprint has an option to print a 12 month calendar on the back, which is useful and may just persuade people to keep the thing around for reference

I moo like crazy - I can't believe how handy they are.

I picked up a couple of Pete's cards last night and found them very effective. :) They seemed quite popular.

This thread saves me finding out where to get them. :D

Strange how the world works. I just got Moo'd last week myself and I have to say I'm impressed, I went Moo beacuse I wanted a simple card to give out with my Name and Flickr address on it.

I think if I was going for something more business like (i.e. commercial photography) I would go for the standard credit card sized business card.
