morning all,

looking into these at present, have a 7 day shop tripod which serves the occasional pics i take but looking to invest alittle more

needs to be rather durable and light due to a holiday next year i would like to use it on, (will be for using a sigma 10-20 for sunset/evening pics and so on so need some extra support)

and possibly motor events this year to support a 100-300 sigma f4

what makes would you recommend or even which specific item?

thanks in advance

budget will be between 60-80ish and if there is some kinf of lightweight tripod avaiable then that would be good also

thanks

oops. wrong forum, can someone be kind enough to move this please

looking at a Slik pro 600, whats thoughts of those?

thanks

I have just recently bought a tripod, I looked at the silk tripods and the velbon ones, all were around the 70 mark

However after much reading and thought I went for a redsnapper tripod. The tripod is very very sturdy and looks the mutz nutz, it was £49.99 and I also combined it with the redsnapper ball head for another £49.99.

Defo worth the money, its light weight, comes complete with a carry case. it weighs around 2kg's roughly with the ball head on, and it can support up to 10kg's on the head

overall great tripod and very much worth the money

Mike
