Hi Everyone

This is my first post so if the subject has been covered before I apologise.

I'm looking to buy a new monitor specifically for viewing and editing my photo's and would like some advise on which one to go for.
I appreciate it depends on budget so something in the £300 bracket.
Does the graphics card on my computer come into the equation as well?
I'm also thinking of buying an apple mac pro.

Any advice would be welcomed

Thanks

Hi Nigel and welcome:thumbs:

You may be better posting the question in another section eg computers - there are a number of similar threads already there;)

I'd avoid any TN panel screens as they produce inaccurate colours and poor viewing angles. Most £300 screens would likely be IPS panel however so better for photos.

How about a Dell 2412m ips panel for about £260 instead of £310 :)

Go to Quidco website and go to the Dell site via quidco. This will give you 10% cashback (hurry back to 7% in a day or so).
Search for Dell U2412M, place in basket, enter voucher code from quidco website (10% of all electronics and accessories over £49) and price will drop to £279.72. That together with your quidco cashback will mean the monitor is less than £260 :)

Would print the quidco code directly here, but most forums don't appreciate that.
