Monitoring upload and download usage / live speeds on Mac? 5G any good?

Hey, does anybody have a recommendation for an application for the Mac that sits in the menu bar which can show live upload and download rates? I'm keen to try tethering to 5G on a friends iPhone to see if there's noticeable difference in performance. Anybody had any experience with 5G? I've a feeling as it becomes more popular, the speeds will suffer compared to speeds that are advertised

I just go to speedtest.net

Someone I know has a 5G phone, but has been told there is no EE 5G currently in the area. He has got up to 400mbps on his phone!

I think istat menu should do what you need but is not a free app.

So would go with the speed test site.

I use istat, but yes its not free.

Between the GPU 97% and the blue memory bar.

Istat seems to have great features but quite pricey considering what I need it for. See if it grows on me
