Hi TP,

I need to purchase a monitor for photo editing, needs either hdmi or dvi connection, been looking at a dell u2412m or a Samsung S22C450bw both have a 16:10 ratio.

Question is, is the dell worth the extra £80 or would the £80 be better spent on a calibration tool?

Yes, get the Dell (AND a calibration tool).

As above get the dell, but also get a calibrator.

Had a feeling that would be the answer, thanks guys. Will get the monitor then a calibration device at a later date, any recommendations?
