It has come time to replace the monitor on the desktop. Looking at a Dell U2412M 24 inch IPS monitor. Was wondering if anyone had one and would they recommend it?

Don't have that particular model but do have a Dell 2209WA IPS which I'm very happy with.

I've got the 2412M - based on others' recommendations. They were right - for the money it's a cracking monitor. I use it as the primary monitor in a 2 screen setup with a Dell 2410 and the difference between the two is clear.

Run it through a digital signal (i.e. not VGA) to get the best out of it.

Thanks guys. Going to get the Dell now. Held back as read a review that said the blacks could be a bit mucky, but looks like that is more the exception rather than the rule.
