I have these 3 on my shortlist, and would value any opinions or experience with them:

Is the extra cost of the Dell justified in its build? I'm not too bothered about the prices, but I'd like good build quality as well as picture quality.
Also I'd prefer real buttons as opposed to touch controls. All the monitors I tried in a shop with touch controls were very poor to operate.

Any other ips screens for <£200 approx that you'd recommend? Had a look on ebay, but I'd prefer brand new for this.

Cheers
Garry

depending on what you use it for dell has the advantage
but the lg so close

there is a little catch with some new cheaper IPS, or eIPS to be specific. They are only 6-bit, extrapolated to 8, just like the nasty TN stuff, so say hello to banding and poorer colours.

What sort of price do 8 bit monitors start at?
Is there anything around for about £200?

Thanks
Garry
