I use a Dell 2209WA, oft recommended on this forum a year or so ago. I am buying a second Dell desktop, and assume this model is now out of production as I can't find it listed anywhere.

Can forum members recommend the current hot tip for photo work on CS6 etc, preferably Dell, but I would be happy to hear tips on other makers. Not too worried about budget - maybe £150 to £250 or upwards. I am not sure of the size of the 2209WA, but I wouldn't mind going a little bit bigger if necessary to get the quality (and my eyesight isn't as good as it was!).
 
I'm in the same boat myself. As far as I understand the Dell U2410 is really the best of the bunch in this kind of range but you'd need to stretch your budget a bit, other ones to consider are the Asus PA238q / PA246q (they have some good features for a good price), and of course as previously mentioned you can't go wrong with the 2412M. Personally I've used the U2410 on many occasions and it is absolutely great, so if you can find one for the right price then go for it.
