Hi

I have a fist full of Amazon vouchers and an urgent need to buy a new monitor for LR / non pro photo work.

I seem to hovering on the Dell Ultra Sharp U2412M and the Asus PA248Q and wondered if anyone in here had real world experience of either/or - or preferably both.

Regards
Neil.

I have the Dell and use it for Lightroom - I did a fair amount of research before chosing it and I would recommend it. The screen resolution is great for LR and there is plenty of gamut for my needs. I donlt yet have a calibrator, but it seems pretty good on factory settings...

I have 3 Dell Ultrasharps and love them to bits, fantastic quality, admittedly they are not the same model as you specified, but the Dell Ultrasharp's in general have always been great to work with

Has a Dell Ultrasharp since June and it's a lovely piece of kit :)

Based upon reviews I am planning a Dell U2412m.
They seem to be popular for their 16:10 aspect ratio giving 1920 x 1200 rather than 16:9 1920 x 1080

Thanks for your comments guys. It looks like Dell is the way to go. Since I last looked the Dell is down to nearly £200 although they dont have any in stock:( Not quite sure how that works.

Regards
Neil
