Monitor confusion colours

S there a reason the top of my monitor would be different darkness to the bottom..... The top quater is darker than ther rest.

What. Does that mean? Its only when its tilted....... Its strange

It could be your monitor has a very critical viewing angle. Viewing outside the optimum angle can give differing results. By tilting the monitor you move outside the optimum viewing angle for that part of the screen. Optimum is usually something like 90 degrees to the panel,.e viewing straight on.
